Financial Operations Specialist AVI Systems is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team.

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer-related invoice documents. Your expertise will be essential in managing complex projects with non-standard billing requirements, creating project reconciliations for internal and external contacts, and researching and resolving billing discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage complex projects with non-standard billing requirements
  • Create project reconciliations for internal and external contacts
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Analyze WIP reports to determine project invoicing
  • Responsible for all collection activities of complex and AIA billings
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years previous experience with high-volume and complex invoicing
  • Proficient with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and recognize when to escalate issues
  • Understanding of the financial impact of project over and under billings
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EDI portals, AIA billings, customer collections, WIP reports, Q360 ERP, and Pemsoft AIA software
