Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled NICU Registered Nurse RN to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to neonates and infants in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical nursing duties for neonates and infants, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide appropriate interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Recognize developmental stages of neonates and infants, and provide supportive care to maximize their developmental potential.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
  • Current BLS certification
  • At least one year of NICU RN experience preferred
