We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a key member of our Emergency Department, you will provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of our nursing staff.
Responsibilities- Communicate Effectively: Interact with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure successful customer outcomes.
- Precept and Orient: Train and educate new team members on job functions and hospital procedures.
- Provide Patient Care: Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and moving patients, as well as changing linens and transferring patients.
- Document Patient Care: Accurately and timely document all aspects of patient care.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure Patient Safety: Maintain a safe environment by reporting and addressing environmental hazards and patient safety concerns.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- No Minimum Requirement for education
- Lifting and Moving: Ability to lift, move, and load 30 to 50 pounds
- Alternate Shift Schedules: Willingness to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts
