Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Northern Light Blue Hill Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of our nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and interact with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Precept team members on job functions and orient patients to hospital environment and routine.
  • Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and document patient care in a timely manner.
  • Provide care in accordance with patient's plan of care and label and deliver specimens per policy.
  • Maintain a safe environment and report environmental hazards and patient safety policy violations.

  • Required: No minimum education requirement
  • Working Conditions: Lifting, moving, and loading 30 to 50 pounds; alternate shift schedules
