We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
  • Update demographic and insurance information
  • Collect and post patient co-payments and outstanding balances
  • Generate and track patient encounter forms
  • Maintain accurate records and make daily cash deposits
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialized medical secretarial training
  • Previous experience in pediatrics
Soft Skills
  • Ability to multitask and resolve patient concerns
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
