Patient Care Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join the patient care team at Carilion Clinic, a renowned healthcare organization committed to clinical excellence. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients, working collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities will include providing basic nursing care, performing advanced technical skills, and assisting patients with daily needs. You will also be responsible for transporting patients, supplies, and equipment, as well as documenting and reporting patient observations to licensed staff.
Requirements:- High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
- Close attention to detail and effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Successfully complete orientation and competency validation.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (CPR) required within 6 months of hire.
- Certified Nursing Assistant license preferred.
- Previous experience in direct patient care preferred.
