Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Children's Soccer Coaches for our programs catering to young athletes aged 2-8 years.

Soccer Shots stands as the premier franchise in children's fitness across the nation. Our success is attributed to our exceptional curriculum, passionate leadership, and our commitment to hiring only the most qualified instructors. It is essential that our coaches not only have a love for working with children but also possess a genuine enthusiasm for making a positive impact in their lives.

While familiarity with soccer is beneficial, the ability to engage and manage a group of young children is paramount. Our goal is to ensure that each 30-45 minute session is the highlight of the child's week, fostering confidence and enjoyment both on and off the field.

As we expand our operations, we are looking to grow our team of instructors to meet the increasing demand. Our sessions take place in various settings including daycares, preschools, parks, community centers, and elementary schools.

Our schedule runs from Monday to Friday, with additional programs available in the early evenings and on weekends. We offer flexibility in scheduling, allowing for adjustments based on your availability. However, once your schedule is established, consistency is key, and we require commitment throughout the season.

We are currently in the process of onboarding new instructors, with training sessions planned to prepare you for the upcoming season. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to continue with us in future seasons.

Compensation begins at $16-$18 per session, with potential for significant pay increases for those who demonstrate strong coaching abilities and a passion for the role.

The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:

  • Dependable: Punctuality is crucial; must manage groups of children effectively and maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Professional: Must present a neat appearance and interact courteously with staff, parents, and children.
  • Engaging: A passion for working with young children is essential; the ability to connect and create a fun atmosphere is vital.
  • Soccer Knowledge: While prior soccer experience is preferred, a strong rapport with children and a basic understanding of the game is acceptable.
  • Child Interaction: Must have experience engaging with children aged 2-8 years, as this is a critical aspect of the role.

Additionally, candidates must successfully complete a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
