Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and reviewing month-end journal entries, including fixed asset reporting, depreciation, prepaid expense amortization, accrued expenses, and interest income.
  • Managing bi-weekly payroll processes, including calculations, data entry, and transaction postings.
  • Approving employee expense reports and managing reimbursements.
  • Overseeing employee credit card expenses and reconciliations.
  • Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and financial records.
  • Filing and paying sales tax returns.
  • Reviewing accounts receivable for potential write-offs and misapplications.
  • Handling daily cash transactions and reconciliations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • A professional demeanor suitable for a corporate environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of GAAP principles.
