The Accounting Lead for HemoCue is responsible for leading and supervising an accounting team responsible for producing accurate and timely financials with journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly closing process and required corporate reporting.

You will be a part of the Finance team and report to the Senior Manager, Accounting. Lead an accounting team consisting of 1 to 3 associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed analysis of complex account balances to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP as part of the overall accounting close process.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with 5 years accounting experience OR Master's degree in field with 3 years experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 0 years experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, sales tax and VAT
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Have a solid understanding of full financials from revenue recognition, lease accounting, inventory, fixed assets, prepayment and intercompany.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements for faster and accurate financial reporting.
