Job Overview

Engineered Cooling Services is seeking a skilled HVAC Welder/Pipefitter Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.

Responsibilities
  • Install and test piping systems, including refrigeration and hydronic systems
  • Measure and prepare materials for fabrication in the field and from drawings
  • Lay out and install sheet metal ductwork and piping systems
  • Make field modifications to pipe assemblies to fit unforeseen site conflicts
  • Rig and set large/heavy equipment safely
  • Use hand tools related to the trade, including tape measures and power tools
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with established specifications and schedules
  • Document all work accurately and completely
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • 5 years' experience in commercial and industrial HVAC installation preferred
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Professional image and excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required
  • Willingness to travel overnight as required
