ABM Industries is seeking a skilled Maintenance Apprentice to join our team. As a Maintenance Apprentice, you will assist with maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of service work, including filter changing, oiling and greasing, belt adjusting or replacement, cleaning of cooling towers, coils, evaporator, and condenser tubes, general housekeeping, and truck driving.
- Operate a variety of tools and machines required to perform HVAC service work.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.
- Complete all paperwork associated with operations and shift responsibilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with HVAC equipment or a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to use power tools.
