Job Title: Working Lead HVAC Journeyman

Engineered Cooling Services, a leading commercial and industrial HVAC service company, is seeking a highly skilled Working Lead HVAC Journeyman to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced HVAC professional to lead our installation and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and industrial HVAC systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead installation and maintenance teams to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion of projects.
  • Read and understand construction drawings to layout and install HVAC systems.
  • Detail duct and duct fittings for fabrication in the field and from drawings.
  • Layout, install, seal, and modify duct systems as needed.
  • Evacuate, charge, and start HVAC equipment.
  • Ensure all work documentation is fully and accurately completed.
  • Produce quality work in a timely manner and adhere to company safety standards and protocols.
  • Responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean workspace.
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience in commercial and industrial HVAC installation.
  • 5 years' experience as an HVAC sheet metal mechanic.
  • EPA refrigerant card.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to braze copper refrigerant piping.
  • Ability to terminate power and thermostat wire at equipment.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to install refrigeration piping systems.
  • Ability to terminate electrical wiring at various HVAC equipment.
  • Knowledge of CHW / HW systems.
  • Capable of effectively directing apprentices.
