Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Physician Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Wellpath.

Job Summary

The Physician Rehabilitation Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing rehabilitation programs for patients with physical injuries or conditions, with the goal of restoring function, relieving pain, and preventing disability.

Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements rehabilitation programs in accordance with physician's plan of treatment.
  • Collaborates with physicians and clinical team to obtain patient information and revise treatment plans as necessary.
  • Instructs and assists patients in exercises, administers manual therapeutic exercises.
  • Maintains daily progress notes and follows Company documentation procedures.
  • Provides feedback and education to patients on their progress and treatment plan.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state.
  • A minimum of one year of clinic experience preferred.
