About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Property Manager to oversee a significant portfolio of properties and serve as a key point of contact for third-party relationships. This individual will be responsible for leading the property management team and ensuring the successful execution of our property management strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the property management business, providing overall leadership and direction to the property management team.
  • Develop and interpret policies and programs, coordinate information flow, and provide strategic guidance on property management initiatives.
  • Provide direction and leadership to property management staff, promoting career growth and development opportunities.
  • Monitor budget variances, ensure smooth recovery processes, and oversee the billing process, including payment of invoices and disbursement of funds.
  • Oversee cash flow and cash requirements, ensuring efficient use of cash in conjunction with the property manager.
  • Prepare reports, annual budgets, and other documents for owners in accordance with the management agreement.
  • Maintain interface with third-party owners, ensuring total contract compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolving tenant relations issues.
  • Perform regular property inspections with staff and oversee construction projects with the construction manager, including approving construction contracts and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with property management policies and procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of real estate property management or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline preferred.
  • Real estate license required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals, including employees and vendors.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
