Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Administer occupational therapy techniques and modalities to help patients regain their physical and cognitive abilities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy procedures and self-care techniques.
  • Direct the care provided by occupational therapy assistants and ensure that it meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
  • Active and clear New York State OT license or limited permit following New York State Practice Act guidelines.
  • BLS (current or scheduled).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in occupational therapy.
Work Environment

This is a per diem position with variable hours, including weekend rotations for the inpatient department. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $52.88 per hour. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
