Under general supervision, the Golf Course Equipment Mechanic performs routine maintenance and repairs on golf course maintenance equipment. The employee diagnoses, adjusts, and repairs various mowers, sprayers, utility vehicles, tractors, and irrigation system equipment to ensure optimal performance. The employee conducts complete mechanic work, including preventive maintenance, proper documentation of repairs, and maintains and safeguards work tools and equipment. The employee is responsible for maintaining clean and safe working conditions in the M&O Building. The employee frequently uses independent judgment when dealing with repairs, prioritizing safety. The employee must be able to handle stress and multiple tasks despite interruptions.
