About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team at Compri Consulting, Inc. This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to coordinate, design, and manage transportation and public works projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop transportation and public works infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, intersections, drainage systems, and other public facilities.
  • Perform complex geometric design calculations for horizontal and vertical alignments.
  • Prepare detailed construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with utility providers to identify and resolve potential conflicts during design and construction.
  • Update and maintain as-built records and mappings to accurately reflect project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other engineers to ensure projects meet community needs and align with a broader vision.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals from government agencies and public utility providers.
  • Stay up to date on the latest engineering standards, materials, and technologies in transportation and public works sectors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in transportation project engineering and/or public works projects.
  • Expert-level proficiency in geometric design principles and software.
  • Strong understanding of drainage, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and materials for various project types.
