Job Title: Technical Trainer - Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer to join our team at OmniOn Power. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering training courses to our customers and employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate and maintain our electrical infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training courses in classroom or on-site settings, following up with post-training activities to ensure participants have a thorough understanding of the material.
  • Develop and maintain course materials, including e-learning content, to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant to our customers' needs.
  • Maintain training facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Services, Technical Support, and Sales, to ensure training courses meet the needs of our customers and employees.
  • Support revenue growth by identifying opportunities to deliver training courses to customers, suppliers, and distributors.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Engineering or Technology from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.
  • Four years of experience in telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of experience creating technical training curriculum and delivering stand-up, in-person training.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology.
  • Basic electrical background/knowledge.
  • Experience in public speaking and ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Proficiency with computer tools, specifically MS Office software programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
