About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Elliot Health System. As a member of our Post-Surgical and Trauma Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing high-quality care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care to individuals with complex needs, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with active enrollment in a BSN program (BSN preferred).
  • Ability to obtain BCLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
  • Nurses are expected to pursue professional certification upon eligibility or within three years of entering the specialty practice.
  • Ability to advance basic computer skills as the health system adds new systems or performs upgrades to existing systems.
