Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with hiring and training qualified team members to ensure a high level of employee retention and satisfaction.
  • Direct, mentor, and oversee all imaging center and department team members, setting clear expectations and monitoring performance.
  • Adhere to all OSHA regulations, RadNet practices, and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Actively promote and seek out new business opportunities for the imaging center and organization.
  • Develop strategies to achieve individual and business unit goals, and advocate for change to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Perform technologist duties to maintain technical skills and alleviate staffing shortages as needed.
Requirements:
  • Passionate about patient care and able to remain professional in all situations.
  • Effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect with patients, guests, and colleagues.
  • Structured work approach, able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent management skills, including sales and customer service, public relations, time management, and clerical skills.
  • Knowledge of budget and financial statements, workers' compensation billing needs, and basic medical-related knowledge and skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to interact effectively with doctors, patients, vendors, peers, staff, and management.
  • Previous experience at a similar volume medical facility is a must, technical experience in imaging is a strong plus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of state and federal health and safety regulations, developing budgets, and general computer skills.
  • A four-year degree in business administration or healthcare administration, or six plus years of experience in the radiology service industry and/or management experience is preferable.
