Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technician II Lead to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of radiology technicians, ensuring that all exams are completed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology, with a minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role. They will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating workloads, and assigning personnel to ensure that all areas of the department are covered. They will also be responsible for performing exams as indicated by the policy and procedures manual, making recommendations to the Clinical Manager or Director on changes in protocols, policies, and procedures, and addressing personnel performance improvement.

The Radiology Technician II Lead will also be responsible for ensuring that all exams are complete, acting as a resource to staff at all times, and performing QA/QC procedures when necessary. They will direct staff to complete work assignments and promote teamwork, and will act as an interim manager in the absence of the Clinical Manager and/or Director.
