Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiology equipment to produce CT and X-ray results for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, patients, and families to provide excellent healthcare.
  • Maintain professionalism in job performance and healthcare practice.
  • Perform patient laboratory testing and results reporting as assigned by the Laboratory Director.
  • Insertion of IV catheter and blood draws in the ER.
  • Calibrate all laboratory instruments, where applicable, as per facility policy.
  • Assist in the maintenance of all equipment in the department, including cleaning and QA procedures.
  • Prepare patients as necessary for examination.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Graduation from accredited approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Two years of radiologic/imaging experience.
  • ARRT CT certification.
  • CPR certification.
  • A well-maintained level of continuing education in the field of Radiology Technology.
  • Basic computer skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful completion of Ascent EMC clinical orientation with proven capabilities in skill, knowledge base, and an understanding of company vision.
