Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, including buildings, grounds, and engineering systems.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and housekeepers to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Preventative Maintenance: Implement and perform preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of our facilities and equipment.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Inspections and Repairs: Conduct regular inspections of Life Safety Systems and perform necessary repairs and maintenance to ensure the safety and security of our residents and staff.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory control for all general supply parts and equipment, and ensure that all necessary materials are on hand to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff and housekeepers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management to ensure that maintenance and repair needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Experience: 2+ years of on-site experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of facility maintenance and repairs, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, locksmith, painting, and other general repairs. Must also have knowledge of State Regulations, budgeting, and room turns.
- Certifications: HVAC Certification (preferred).
- Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
