Maintenance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at NRG Bluewater Wind. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of plant equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets and resource allocation plans to ensure optimal use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a power plant or industrial setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles and practices, including safety and environmental regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of combined cycle power plant operations.
  • Experience with quality processes and formal programs.

  • Strong leadership skills with an understanding of leadership principles.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
