At Republic National Distributing Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Cash Applications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of cash transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and post cash receipts to customer accounts
  • Manage small balance adjustments and ensure accurate application of credits
  • Process zero balance batches and adjustment batches
  • Identify and resolve unapplied cash and unidentified cash
  • Communicate with customers to obtain remittance details
  • Provide support to internal teams, including Research Specialists, to resolve financial discrepancies

Requirements:

  • High school degree and 1-3 years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of accounting software, internet software, spreadsheet software, and miscellaneous software
  • NACM Certification
  • Associates degree or higher
  • 3+ years of job-related experience
