About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Remediation Engineer to join our team at Farallon Consulting LLC in Bellevue or Seattle, Washington. This full-time position involves working on a broad range of environmental projects, including contaminated site investigation and remediation, environmental due diligence, litigation support, and regulatory coordination.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in environmental engineering, with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating cleanup actions with varying degrees of complexity. They should also be well-versed in applicable environmental regulations and guidance, including MTCA, RCRA, and CERCLA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Farallon's technical teams to support various environmental projects
  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams to perform cleanup actions
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ABET certified Bachelor or Master's degree in environmental engineering
  • Professionally licensed in Washington, P.E.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in environmental consulting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • CADD and engineering design plan preparation experience
  • Ability to work with Farallon's team of scientists and engineers on business development objectives
