About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Baker Construction. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for supporting field activities and collaborating with project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Administration: Support project managers in the administration of multiple small projects or one medium to large-sized project.
  • Cost and Schedule Management: Submit and/or approve monthly billings and earned value reports, manage the development of critical path project schedule documents, and analyze project financial performance.
  • Procurement and Quality: Manage the procurement process, approve field purchase orders, and participate in project financial reviews.
  • Project Safety and Risk Management: Support project safety and risk management initiatives and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Team Leadership: Oversees the work of direct reports and participates in training and certifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years of experience, or 8 years of construction-related experience and/or training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of construction software such as Primavera, Timberline.
  • Ability to understand, customize, and modify spreadsheets.
  • Requires ability to maneuver in and out of job site trailers and various stages of job site terrains.
