We have also adapted to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic by instituting comprehensive health and safety protocols for our food supply chains.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES

As an Armed Security Officer during the COVID-19 pandemic, you will be recognized as an essential frontline worker. Adherence to health and safety guidelines set forth by the CDC is mandatory to ensure the well-being of our community. This includes maintaining hygiene, practicing social distancing, and utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (provided by Hammer Head Security) while on duty.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Armed Security Officer, your duties will include:

  • Exemplifying professionalism on behalf of Hammer Head Security and our Cannabis clients.
  • Maintaining a strong, visible presence to ensure control over both the interior and exterior of the facility.
  • Creating and nurturing a secure environment for facility staff, management, and customers.
  • Understanding and enforcing all security policies and procedures relevant to customers, vendors, staff, and visitors.
  • Conducting regular and random patrols throughout the facility, assessing the condition of security measures, and reporting any suspicious activities.
  • Communicating effectively with facility staff and management to manage the flow of foot traffic safely and efficiently.
  • Employing conflict resolution skills to de-escalate incidents involving difficult individuals, involving management when necessary.
  • Monitoring CCTV systems to identify areas of concern and responding appropriately.

WORKING LOCATIONS: Flexibility to work in multiple locations.

SHIFT DETAILS: Swing shifts available.

HOURS: Part-time, approximately 33 hours per week.

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

  1. Government-issued ID or valid California driver's license.
  2. High School diploma or equivalent.
  3. Valid California BSIS Guard Card.
  4. Valid Exposed Firearm Permit issued by BSIS.
  5. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT FOR ARMED ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Duty belt with a Level II Holster.
  2. Well-maintained firearm (must match the caliber on the permit).
  3. Ballistic/Tactical Vest (recommended but not mandatory).

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Candidates must be in good physical condition to perform a full range of security duties, capable of handling moderate to strenuous physical exertion under various conditions.
