Job Summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our aggregate plant processing equipment. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with machinery and perform preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Operate cranes, man-lifts, hoists, and other specialized equipment as needed
  • Order parts and materials through the maintenance department or outside suppliers
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the efficient operation of the plant
  • Participate in safety initiatives and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in heavy duty maintenance or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
