Position Summary: The Accounts Receivable & Cash Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing all invoicing, collections, and cash application processes, ensuring timely management of all accounts receivable aging components. This position is responsible for enhancing cash flow through diligent monitoring of customer accounts. The manager will lead the team, handle journal entries, reconcile accounts, manage banking activities, and provide insightful financial statistics. Additionally, this role involves independently verifying and resolving any transactional accounting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Accounts Receivable and Cash team, along with various general ledger functions.
  • Review and approve invoices related to services and rentals.
  • Implement systematic collection practices, including customer communication, issue resolution, and payment facilitation.
  • Evaluate and establish credit and term limits for new customers, serving as the primary contact for credit checks.
  • Collaborate with accounting to manage uncollectible accounts and accurately record credit loss allowances.
  • Monitor daily cash receipt applications and manage month-end cash reconciliation processes, providing periodic cash reports to management.
  • Administer banking functions for all subsidiaries, ensuring proper duty segregation and compliance with banking protocols.
  • Establish effective financial internal controls and implement necessary systems related to accounts receivable billing and collections.
  • Support financial forecasting by projecting cash receipts.
  • Coordinate the annual audit process with external auditors.
  • Work collaboratively with departments such as Finance, Customer Care, Sales, and Operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high organizational standards.
  • Strong analytical skills to research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a quick adaptability to accounting software.
  • Willingness to embrace change and learn new skills.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years in accounts receivable management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is preferred.
  • Preferred educational background includes a Bachelor's or Associate Degree.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP principles.

Compensation: The US base salary range for this position is $93,550 - $149,680 annually. Salary is determined by position, level, location, and market benchmarks. Individual pay is influenced by geographic location, job-related skills, experience, education, and training.
