Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train produce department staff to provide excellent guest service and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Manage inventory and supplies to meet sales and profit goals, while maintaining a high level of product quality and freshness.
- Implement and maintain merchandising and operational guidelines and programs to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Conduct regular product preparation, receiving, conditioning, stocking, and guest service to ensure high standards are met.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of produce department staff.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track sales, inventory, and staff performance.
- 3+ years of experience in produce operations or a related field.
- Proven track record of driving sales and profits in a retail environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. constantly.
- Knowledge of produce operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and product preparation.
