Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and testing software solutions for spacecraft flight systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Apply software engineering principles, concepts, and theory to develop high-quality software solutions for embedded systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including astrodynamics, navigation, and space systems design engineers, to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Code Maintenance: Perform code maintenance, testing, and analysis to ensure the stability and reliability of our software solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of progressively complex software development and engineering experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in C/C++, Python programming languages, and experience with GIT revision control, Agile development processes, and standards.
  • Embedded Software Experience: Experience with designing real-time, embedded Flight Software (FSW) and firmware (FW) for satellite systems, including NASA core Flight System (cFS).
  • Ground Software Experience: Experience with ground software for satellite systems.
