Job Summary:

Atraverse Medical, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our research and development department, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products and providing sustaining engineering support for existing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and implement design changes for existing products and new products.
  • Translate customer and business needs into engineering specifications throughout the design and development process.
  • Manage vendor supply chain sourcing.
  • Develop test methods for preclinical evaluations and design verification and document results.
  • Lead design review meetings.
  • Provide technical leadership to ensure project deliverables are met in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of animal labs.
  • Manage engineering lab setup, equipment, health, and safety.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
  • 3 years of industry medical device design/engineering experience, including specific experience with:
    • Full life-cycle engineering of catheters, guidewires, RF energy delivery, and sterile packaging from prototyping to product transfer.
    • Clinical or animal lab experience.
    • Experience administering SolidWorks and PDM.
  • Knowledge of left heart (transseptal) access technologies.
  • SolidWorks Mechanical Design Certification.

Compensation:

$138,216 + up to $10,000 bonus.
