The Emergency Department Registered Nurse at South Peninsula Hospital is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. As a key member of the healthcare team, the successful candidate will provide direct patient care, assess patient needs, and develop individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and education
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Assess patient needs and prioritize care based on acuity and urgency
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska
- One year of experience in an Emergency Department setting, with 3 years preferred
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
