We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Systems Specialist III to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of HVAC Automation Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex electronic control system malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of electronic or digital controls systems.
  • Provide sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings.
  • Communicate with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage assigned work to meet professional execution, time, and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Adhere to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards, providing safety awareness on work sites.

Requirements:

  • General knowledge of HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Vocational School four-year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a similar field, plus three years of industry experience or five years of experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
  • Leadership skills to support the activities of Mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical Building Automation equipment on a job site.
  • PC experience required and the ability to program HVAC-related software.
