Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a reliable and professional Parts Sales Associate to join our team at Phil Hughes Automotive Group. As a key member of our dealership, you will be responsible for selling, storing, and issuing parts to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine Customer Needs: Accurately specify parts to meet customer requirements.
  • Record Warranty Parts: Keep track of warranty parts returned and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Special Order Parts: Create and manage special ordered parts, notifying advisors, technicians, and clients upon receipt.
  • Inventory Management: Perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Invoice Processing: Process and close open invoices, comparing requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of outside purchases and parts received and issued.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One year of dealership parts experience and/or training preferred.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
