Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in developing and administering sonographic procedures, organize machine maintenance, and perform periodic calibrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform abdominal, retroperitoneal, small parts, limited vascular, and limited obstetric and gynecological exams
  • Write up and take patient histories
  • Obtain prior imaging related to the study being performed
  • Reschedule patients as needed
  • Maintain records of examination data and other pertinent information on patients
  • Communicate critical findings to radiologists in notes as needed
  • Participate in quality-assurance monitoring and recording efforts
  • Care for and operate necessary equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to OSHA guidelines
  • Place orders for supplies and equipment as needed
  • Assume assigned responsibilities to maintain departmental quality assurance
Requirements:
  • Completion of an ultrasound-training program with ARDMS certification
  • Current RDMS registry
  • General radiology skills and at least two to three years of experience as a sonographer
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
