JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for performing a variety of CT & XRAY procedures while observing patient safety protocols. Responsible for obtaining accurate patient history, patient positioning, technique, processing using CT, XRAY, and PACS equipment, and communicating with Radiologist and support staff. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.

Shift: 1st Shift and /or third Shift

Sign-on Bonus: $15,000

A 140-bed hospital located centrally in Wilmington, Ohio, only an hour drive from three of Ohio's major metros: Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus. Hospital offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient specialized services, including emergency services, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, medical and radiation oncology, orthopedics, obstetrics, urology, ENT, diagnostic and interventional radiology and more.

Diagnostic capabilities include:

  • Calcium Scoring Test (Heart CT)
  • Low-Dose Lung CT Screening
  • MRI
  • 64-slice and 16-slice CT
  • PET/CT (mobile)
  • Digital mammography
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Ultrasound
  • Appropriate studies performed with and without contrast
  • Fluoroscopy
  • General studies
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Licensed Rad Tech
  • Secondary Certification in CT
  • 6-months of experience
  • Three years of Rad Tech experience
  • Three years of CT experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
