Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Steward Health Care. As a key member of our RAD - SPECIAL PROCEDURES department, you will work closely with radiologists to perform interventional procedures and capture high-quality images for the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret physician's orders and administer contrast materials as needed
- Operate x-ray equipment and position patients for optimal imaging results
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate and efficient procedures
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiology technology
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist
- Demonstrated understanding of radiographic and angiography techniques and equipment
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiology Technologists
- BLS Healthcare Provider Status required
