SUMMARY
WKY Development LLC Oak Grove is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Security Shift Manager. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of all patrons, staff, and company assets within our facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Security Shift Manager will oversee the security team during their shift, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and procedures. The following duties are essential to this role:
- Maintain a secure environment for employees and guests.
- Implement programs aimed at minimizing workplace injuries.
- Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively.
- Develop and conduct training programs for staff development.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process.
- Investigate incidents and customer feedback, ensuring accurate reporting.
- Monitor adherence to policies and procedures throughout the shift.
- Engage with management as necessary.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Perform additional duties as required.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
- Demonstrate effective management of security operations.
- Foster positive working relationships among team members.
- Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
- Provide exceptional customer service and problem-solving capabilities.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed.
- Understand local gaming laws and internal company policies.
- Familiarity with the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.
- Assume overall responsibility for shift performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in security, law enforcement, or casino/hotel security.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming/racing license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands of this position include frequent sitting or standing, walking, and the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. The work environment may be moderately loud, requiring active observation of patrons and equipment.
