We're seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant 2 to join our team at The Corvallis Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our patients and supporting our medical team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in and maintain a culture that aligns with our Service and Behavioral Standards Handbook.
  • Provide pre-visit planning and post-visit coordination for patients, patient rooming, collecting vital signs, managing medication refills, and documenting in the electronic medical record.
  • Maintain clinic flow, inventory management, and assist with procedures and treatments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other staff members.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
  • One or more of the following: successful completion of a formal medical services training program, current Oregon EMT license, completion of a nationally recognized accredited LPN training program, or completion of a nationally recognized accredited CMA training program.
  • 1+ years of successful experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare clinic setting.
  • Demonstrated intermediate computer proficiency and basic applied math skills.
  • Proven record of reliable attendance, punctuality, and successful performance with past and present employers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven knowledge of patient care and aseptic technique.
  • Ability to work well with providers and other staff members.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work.
  • Ability to provide service excellence, kindness, and compassion.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining professional relationships.
Physical Qualifications:
  • Requires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking.
  • May be required to lift 20 pounds.
  • Requires use of computer, phone, and general office equipment.
