Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Services department at La Palma Intercommunity Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care services, utilizing technical and manual skills to meet the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care.
- Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, demonstrating knowledge of EMTALA Regulations and triage process in the ER setting.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- IV certification upon hire; Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification preferred.
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certificate required 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- PALS (AHA/ARC) certificate required 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- NRP certificate required 90 days of hire and maintain current.
- EDAP certificate required 6 months of hire and maintain current.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $28.00 to $37.68, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering a wide range of factors, including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
