Key Responsibilities- Generate high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation, adhering to the standards set by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various imaging technologies and equipment, as validated by competency assessments.
- Uphold safety protocols for yourself, colleagues, and patients.
- Encourage teamwork through effective communication.
- Deliver exceptional service to patients through proper communication, technique, and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Maintain flexibility to work across different locations, shifts, and durations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure optimal patient care.
- May be required to collect and analyze biological specimens, such as blood and urine, to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
- Highly organized, efficient, and capable of multitasking.
- Ability to work independently and possess excellent interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities.
- Willingness to work varied hours, including shifts of different lengths, and respond to on-call duties, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Preferred experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT certification in Radiography is required, with additional certifications as determined by Radiology leadership.
- Appropriate state licensure is necessary if mandated by the state of practice.
- BLS certification is required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation range is $30.12 - $45.19 per hour.
- This position is classified as nonexempt.
- Benefits eligibility is not applicable.
Work Schedule
- Part-time position with variable shifts and a rotation for weekends and holidays.
