Tennis Instructor at Jewish Community Center of Dallas

Become a vital part of a distinguished tennis program in Dallas as a Tennis Instructor at the Jewish Community Center. Reporting directly to the Director of Racquet Sports, you will significantly contribute to the enhancement and expansion of the program. This contracted role includes standard compensation for group sessions and a share of private lesson fees, with evening and weekend availability required. The Jewish Community Center is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver tennis coaching for participants of various skill levels and ages.
  • Organize and facilitate tennis clinics, lessons, and events.
  • Design and implement comprehensive tennis programs to promote student development.
  • Uphold club policies and regulations.
  • Address member inquiries and concerns effectively.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:

  • Process payroll on a biweekly basis.
  • Verify payment records for classes.
  • Carry out additional assigned responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Net Generation Certification or collegiate tennis background.
  • Proven experience in teaching tennis to both adults and juniors.
  • Preferred minimum USTA rating of 4.0.
  • Extensive knowledge of Tennis and Pickleball.
  • Exhibit a positive demeanor and self-driven motivation.
  • Capability to meet physical demands of the role.
  • Hold American Red Cross certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED.

It is important to note that the responsibilities and duties may evolve as required by the JCC and the community. The Tennis Instructor is expected to collaborate effectively within the mission of the JCC.
