2nd shift: 4:45 PM - 3:45 AM

Job Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Flexographic Printing Press Operator is to set up and operate the flexographic printing press, producing high-quality labels and products on rolls of various materials, including flexible plastic film and paper, according to specific job instructions.

Key duties include:
- Reviewing job specifications and customer requirements
- Setting up the press with the necessary dies, inks, and materials
- Monitoring the printing process to ensure quality standards are met
- Conducting inspections of printed materials for imperfections
- Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of the equipment
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to convey ideas and information
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent walking, bending, and movement are necessary
- Specific vision abilities include color vision and depth perception.

Work Environment:

Employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, dust, chemicals, and high noise levels typical of a manufacturing setting.
