Job Title: Business Operations Coordinator

At the American Red Cross, we are committed to delivering our programs and services in a culturally competent manner reflecting the communities we serve. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative budget monitoring and expenditure review regarding expenses, including approval of regional procurement transactions.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure that programs are executed within budget.
  • Ensure location processes are established and functioning for all cash and card transactions.
  • Prepare and analyze data for monthly forecasting of expenses for department directors.
  • Provide guidance and data for grant reporting.
  • Respond to internal/external requests for information and/or documentation and delegate as appropriate to volunteers for input, tracking or reporting.
  • Act as Region point of contact for FOCIS information.
  • Develop and oversee maintenance and distribution of consistent regional operations processes and procedures.
  • Advises COO/CAO of findings and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • High School or equivalent required. Associate's degree in Accounting, Business or Public Administration preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of financial or facilities business operations/administrative experience in community organizations, government agencies, non-profit, business or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Experience working effectively with volunteers and board members preferred.
