Key Responsibilities:
Support various operational tasks, troubleshooting, training, and recommending workflow improvements.Experience in blood collection, specimen labeling, centrifugation, and maintaining patient records.Collect and preserve specimens in accordance with established protocols.Clearly articulate the venipuncture process and other specimen collection methods.Demonstrate techniques using both straight and butterfly needles.Verify laboratory requisition forms against specimen tubes, label, centrifuge, separate, and freeze samples.Ensure accuracy by checking test requisitions against established scripts.Prepare specimens for transportation and store samples at required temperatures.Adhere to compliance regulations and guidelines.Participate in annual departmental training, manage telephone inquiries, and interpret laboratory results.Minimum Qualifications:
