Clinical Laboratory Technician

Duration: 03+ months of contract
Location: Newnan, Georgia, United States
Shift Schedule: 07:45 AM – 04:30 PM, Monday to Thursday; Friday 07:45 AM to 12:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Support various operational tasks, provide troubleshooting assistance, engage in training, and suggest workflow improvements.Experience in performing blood draws, labeling samples, centrifuging specimens, maintaining records, and updating patient data.Collect and preserve samples in accordance with established protocols.Clearly articulate the venipuncture process and other specimen collection methods.Exhibit proficiency in techniques utilizing straight and butterfly needles.Verify laboratory requisition forms against specimen tubes, label, centrifuge, separate, and freeze samples as needed.Ensure accuracy by checking test requisitions against scripts.Prepare specimens for transportation and store samples at required temperatures.Adhere to compliance regulations and standards.Participate in annual departmental training, manage phone inquiries, and interpret laboratory results.Minimum Qualifications:
