Client OverviewOur client is a reputable construction company seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join their team. This organization requires an experienced accounting professional with a background in construction who can work in a team just as effectively as they work independently. Construction accounting experience is a must.
Salary/Hourly Rate$28/hr – $30/hr
Position OverviewThe ideal candidate for the Staff Accountant role should possess strong attention to detail and analytical skills. We are looking for 3 – 5 years of experience with month-end close, accruals, project/construction accounting, etc. The successful candidate will be hard-working and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant- Prepare financial analyses and reports.
- Project-based construction general accounting.
- Assist with accounts receivables and payables.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Perform input, maintenance, and review of fixed assets.
- Assist in weekly and monthly reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel skills.
- ERP systems experience.
- Communication and past construction accounting experience are big pluses.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or related field.
- Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off).
