Forensic Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Accountant to join our team at MDD Forensic Accountants. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting team in our Cherry Hill office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review financial reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Participate in strategic planning sessions with the accounting team to drive business growth
• Input data and analyze invoices to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Assist clients with conducting interviews during financial investigations to gather information
• Perform forensic research to trace funds and identify assets for recovery
• Verify claims to source documents to ensure accuracy
• Evaluate insurance claims and economic damage to provide expert analysis
• Work closely with senior staff on litigation cases, first-party property, and business valuations
• Assist in the preparation of accounting reports from financial findings
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws
• Research and complete other tasks assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Entry-level accounting experience
• Actively pursuing CPA designation
• Ability to speak multiple languages, a plus
• Willingness to travel internationally and potentially for extended periods
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
